Description My thoughts and prayers are with Australia, I hope the rain will soon wash away the fires that are swallowing it's land, words cant express the sorrow I feel for what is happening over there...thousands of people displaced having to flee to the ocean to have a survival chance... 500 million animals and flora lost, millions of hectare of land destroyed and the worst of it all is how politics sit idle and hardly do anything....

Drawn in photoshop CS3 on a Wacom cintiq 16 from own reference photos

Check this out:  Australian bushfires and arsonistsEverything MUST be blamed solely on "climate change" even when the same folks pushing that lie must surely know for a fact that people are starting fires.
Around 87% of bushfires are caused by humans either deliberately or accidentally starting them, according to Dr. Paul Read, co-director of the National Centre for Research in Bushfire and Arson. Australian Police are now working on the premise that arson is to blame for much of the desolation.
Blaming "climate change" is nothing more than political opportunism.

I'm from Australia, and my hometown has been through the fires. My hometown is safe, and the areas that were burned has started to regrow. I've had friends living in the affected areas had to evacuate too.
I love these birds, and feed them on my front verandah everyday. Fires in Australia is nothing new, it's just been a freakish year for them.
It's so easy to be an armchair umpire and be quick to point blame when someone else is driving the bus, but once that person gets into that seat its a different perspective.
If people can be that quick to throw their energy into whinging about who is to blame, then we can use that same energy to band together to help those who are in need.
The Aussie spirit it that we roll up our sleeves and help out our mates.

I cant even imagine how it must feel for all those people who have tried to protect certain lands and species of animals and plants trough the years and see their efforts go up in flames... literally... and thank you
