Because Gary's a jealous bitch who can't sing for shit and Jimmy's just fucking talented like that.And of course, Pete's still an adorable little friend as usual.
Sorry for the shading/lighting/everything, I couldn't scan a clearer picture so I had to resort in editing its brightness. Sorry, but I hope you all enjoy.

I know this is a really old comment by now, but I love this headcanon. A LOT. It adds a lot of dramatic flavour to Gary's motives and makes so much sense, you could actually empathise with him. Despite his apathy toward others, he actually still enjoyed the feeling of having friends... he just doesn't know how to form and old onto them like a normal person. Thus can't have normal, healthy friendships, so that only feeds into his distrust of others.
I love Bully, and I love its characters but I wish Rockstar had given Gary a bit more context for his actions, beyond "he stopped taking his meds and became paranoid." ;_; I realize Bully is meant to be a comedic romp around that's not meant to be taken too seriously, but god there is so much unused potential in the story that would have been really compelling imo.
