Nightscales and I did an art trade together and just finished it, but she made me this beautiful piece [link] while I made this quick creature sketch [link] >U<"So after seeing her lovely side of the trade, I wanted to do something more for her... I decided to go back to my original idea and now that I had the creature design in mind, this was much easier to do xD
Thankyou so much for doing the trade with me, Ellen! And I hope u like ur extra picture here, this is included in my side of the trade^^
Done on PSCS2, SAI, and GIMP (yup the whole kit and kaboodle)

AAAAAAAH I love this one too! 
It just creeps out of the darkness and that gives such a powerful and strong feeling. Very dominant. I just LOVE the colors you picked! And the eyes and eyebrows. Gosh these two artworks of yours make me want to draw these fantastic creatures as well
I'm almost without words. It has been amazing doing an art trade with you and so inspiring. You really give me the drive to go a step further and go out of my comfort zone!!!

Yeah! I started it in PhotoShop and then switched to SAI and also did some experiments in PS afterwards. I'm so glad it all blends in though ^U^
