Someone asked me if I had any tips on making gloves, and I just snapped a few pictures of my own that I was making. Just thought I'd share it with you guys, hope it comes in handy

Alright, I gotta ask. Where in the HELL did you find stretch pleather that looks like... well, LEATHER! I've found the 'stretch' stuff in the stores, yeah, the Yaya Han stuff. It doesn't look like leather to me. It looks like slightly more robust latex. So that just ain't happening. I can recolor the material but prefer something white, but I don't even know how you found this stuff! Great tutorial, especially since it seems no one is interested in making leather gloves for chars, so thank you for taking the time to put this together!

The stretch pleather (usually only 2 way stretch, not 4 way stretch) I usually get from my local fabric store here in Australia usually in black, white or red.
However, you canΒ get it by the yard or by the metre online quite easily. Try searching up 'faux leather' on ebay - there should be a bunch of different options! And you'll have a bunch of different colours too!Β

Hi! For this particular glove, I used two-way stretch pleather (also called faux leather).
However, you should be able to make gloves using this method with any material that stretches c:! (I usually like using lycra)

Thanks a lot! I used two-way stretch pleather (only stretches left and right) for this particular glove.
But you're able to use any kind of material to make gloves, provided it stretches at least in two ways! (if it stretches in all directions, it's known as four-way stretch material e.g. lycra)

Making elbow length gloves with this method should work fine!Β
Just extend the length of your material, and make sure it stretches sideways at least ;D!
