I hope Damo isn't just another throwaway villain like the other Rock Humans. He just doesn't fuck around. Like. At all.  Reserved, sadistic, and efficient. Fits the detective aesthetic real nice, except for maybe the hair.

The thought didn't even cross my mind . . . . I hope he's not the main villain either.  However, he might go through an incredible transformation like Valentine who started off as a fat man with dwarfism, ended up taller than Gryo and more muscular too.

I don't mind his look tbh. Anyway I doubt he's the main villain solely because he necessarily has to be defeated by Gappy, to revert Vitamine C's effects on Joshuu and Nijimura. 
It'd be way too early into the series for them to die, Joshuu hasn't even properly used his Stand yet!

That's true.  At one point I thought Joshuu might end up being the main villain, but I don't think so anymore.  I also don't mind this guy's design, but it'd take a really smooth, badass villain to top Unbreakable Diamond's Kira for me.  For a standard bad guy, it's nice to have some ugly mugs in there, like Alessy . . . . . or half the guys from the third series.
