Crescent had always had the quality of a leader, even when she was a young Nestling in the nursery. Her littermates would always be her shadow, and the other kits soon joined in their games. They always looked up to her for direction and what to do next, and surprisingly, most of her answers were mature. However, despite her denmates always at her paws, she was only ever truly close with her siblings. In her training, she focused more on honing her skills than developing relationships. As her brother and sister made new friends, Crescent isolated herself, struggling with her self image and worth. She continued to push herself to the limit, dedicating everything to protecting her family from afar. Yet shortly before her and her siblings received their full titles, Wolf was killed. Crescent and Haven's already distant relationship fell apart after the incident, each sister believing they had failed the other. The two try to avoid each other at all times, even going as far as Haven not attending her sister's ceremony as Noble and Crescent not visiting her sister's new litter of kittens. However, Crescent is soon forced to interact with her sister when Jag finds four orphaned kits in need of a nursing mother. Knowing Haven is the only option, she hopes this situation will help mend their relationship before it's too late.
