The textures! The colours! The atmosphere...I'm amazed by this and can't stop staring at it! The moon behind her head is perfect, and it highlights her melancholy expression. I like how her hair is so bright compared to the rest of the picture. The colours fit together perfectly and the folds of her dress feel very realistic, like I can reach out and touch the cloth.

im not liking the school art so far...flash is a really clunky program

I've graduated, yes, and it's just sort of painful looking for a job, but I'm getting more interviews now that summer's over. Also might start just private tutoring on the side since getting someone to hire you for an actual good position can be difficult sometimes. Gotta really put myself out there and start networking more, which is happening now! I might go back to school next year anyways, to start a PhD since I do want to see if I can become a professor eventually (haha--tough luck).
Flash does have a lot of problems. Do you have to make animations with it for school?

Thank you! It can be tough just coming out of school and then realizing you have to choose something and start putting yourself out there. It takes some time to adjust, to realize you're finally free now but that freedom is also a bit stressful due to expectations and such (what kind of job will you get? HOW long will it take you to find one? Are you willing to take any job that accepts you, just because you're afraid of unemployment? etc.)
Do you guys get to try other animation programs?
