HISTORY: Giles was raised in the fast-paced city of Saffron, and is the fourth oldest of nine kids. In such a large group, Gil often did outlandish or rambunctious things to gain the attention, and praise, of his parents. With so many children, it was difficult for his parents to keep full tabs on them all the time, let alone give each one the proper individual attention they needed. This left Gil and his siblings to be the support for one another, which created a strong bond between all of them. Gil and his many brothers often ran about town as a pack and looking for fun things to do, though they often just ended up in trouble. Giles discovered an fun trick one day, when he over turned an empty trashcan and started banging on it. His siblings found other objects to use as pretend instruments and the racket they made was hardly music, but Gil was estatic and thought it would be awesome to be able to play a real instrument one day.

When it came time for Gil to leave for college, he chose a university, far away, in Nimbasa City. He chose to go because he'd been awarded a scholarship there, but also because Nimbasa City was a place of lights, music and entertainment. While Gil's concentration was art, he figured it would be perfect for learning more about instruments in a city that was briming with talent. This was also where he met his best friend, Zeik.

Zeik is a Zweilous who ended up rooming with Gil, who was elated to find out that Zeik was there for a music degree. Zeik showed Gil his skill on the double neck guitar and the two became fast friends. He even offered to teach Gil how to play, inbetween his other studies of course. Even though Gil had entered college with little in mind of what he wanted to become, he didn't dislike the idea of trying out the music deal, even though he still had years to gain compared to Zeik. He had talent in the guitar his friend had loaned him, and had fun learning to play drums from an actual class, but it wasn't something that he could depend upon as a career choice.

So Gil began dabbling in the arts. The 3D arts to be specific. He'd always been strong in hands-on kind of work, like tech-lab(though not so good in the science-necessary type projects). Zeik suggested that he try ceramics, even though Gil thought it sounded a little girly, he'd try it anyway since it would fill a class requirement. Suddenly he found that through ceramics, something just clicked. It wasn't as if he was a pro at it, but the molding of clay and shaping of new objects was something he enjoyed doing and he found he simply couldn't stop; even after the class hours had long ended. It seems that Gil had found his calling. He began enrolling in more arts of the same nature: molding making, sculpture, more ceramics. He even took a few glass blowing and metal melding classes. At last, he had in mind what he wanted to do for a living.

Now, fresh out of college and free from his days of education, Gil is ready to travel the world and see the sights. Maybe even play in a band with Zeik and become famous! Except...they're broke. Spending your money on classes and education supplies doesn't exactly leave you with much cash for your own dreams, especially when you've got studen loans to pay. Oh, he can get by and pay the bills, but he can't exactly just pack up and travel around the world and tour the cities; as much as Giles and Zeik would love to do. So the two started searching for small, rural towns in which to start their new lives. They can't even begin to think about survival in a city. Have you seen the rent rates!? No, their plan was to stick to a small town. Gil would sell his pottery and sculptures while Zeik could...play his guitar. Seriously though, Zeik offers his services for events such as parties, weddings, etc; as either a solo guitarist or together with his bud Gil. Pokette came up in their search and the town was an ideal location for them to start saving for their dreams.

Gil tries to act like a cool guy, but at heart he just ends up being a total kid. His hasty nature often has him reacting without thinking, which has led him into some messy situations, both good and bad. He procrastinates often and loves to just have fun, even if it's on the job.

HOBBIES: SKATEBOARDING, Playing the drums or guitar, sculpting and ceramics.

JOB: Glass-Ceramics Sculptor/Potter. Plays in a band on the side with Zeik. He sells many of his wares out of his home, but he mostly sells them at fairs or to the local shops that are willing to sell his goods. Pokette really is a convenient town to live in, since Gil can occasionally take the bus to Poketopia City and sell off what the local businesses don't take.

FAVORITE FOOD: Bacon Burgers or Spicy Tacos. He mostly just likes anything with meat and spice.
