One of my favorite super pred in the movie, second is "Mr. Black". Too bad we never get to see this guy's face.

Heh... I was wondering if you'd do a repaint.
I definitely will have to do my own. That blade is begging for some Alclad action: [link]

Well, I was thinking I could have my girlfriend pick up two Berserkers. One for me. One for you. If you're game, Payment for finding him for you could be one of your kick arse paint jobs.

They may surprise us. Have some faith, man. I've noticed a slowly climbing quality in 'PREDATOR' merchandise, So maybe they realize us artists who are Pred fans are not to be taken lightly.

Honestly, Go with light gray primer and start from there. White makes the paints you'll use look to bright, and unrealistic. Joe Dunaway did tutorial on how to paint Preds. Might want to give it a gander.

thanx, i just painted mine the desired skintone and used spray on laquer to protect the pain, can you link me to that tutorial?

RyanXTremblay In reply to xenomorphic97 [2010-09-30 00:03:57 +0000 UTC]
I can scan it, and post it in here. Basically, What you need to do (You'll forgive me if I forget some steps.)
Start with light Gray primer. Any brand would work. Using createx brand paints,Dark brown, to be exact, Brush in the details and wipe away the excess. Seal your work with Testor's dullcote. Now this is the tricky part, Using a deep red/purple, paint in veins along the body (The arms, legs, etc.). After that, Another coat of dullcote to protect your work. Now, If you have an airbrush, Find the right color for the skin tone you desire and thin the paint using 90% rubbing alcohol. Spray the skin tones down, Let them dry and once again, Testor's dullcote. Next, onto the spots. Use whatever colors strike your fancy. Good luck.
