I enjoyed doing the Kalos starters in pencils, so did these guys too. Mega Blaziken is my favourite design of the three, but they're all cool. I'll be taking mudkip as my starter like I did on my first Ruby playthrough and trading over a torchic egg from Y, oh my yes.Who's your favourite??

Some kind of Pentel brand pencils, I think the code is CB8, if that means anything. A friend bought 'em for me

The drawing itself, in terms of the composition and placement and anatomy of the Pokemon, would be pretty awesome on its own. But man oh MAN does the coloring ever make this one stand out! Your colored pencil technique is fascinating. I love how many colors are actually in your coloring, not just the base color and darker/lighter versions of itself. To create contrasts, you even go beyond adding the base color's neighbors from the color wheel, such as slipping tasty cool colors into Blaziken's warm yellows. Between the color choices and your skill with hatching, this is simply divine.

I'm also quite chuffed you mentioned the colours, haha. I used the neighbouring type's colours for the shading to help tie the picture together; Blue shading on sceptile, green shading on blaziken, and red shading on swampert. Nice to hear it worked!
