Description "There is no soul within Michael, no light, no true life, what lurks within Michael Myers is something that doesn't belong in this world." -Maniax

I got a message about this before in my notes, a question some fan. Will Michael ever join the Slasherverse? Now, granted Michael will be referenced in the Slasherverse, right now the central focus of the Slasherverse is held within Freddy and Jason. What happens next though once they reach the end of their race I got to say...Maybe? Hard to say really with the constant ideas for Never Sleep Again and Crystal Lake Chronicles rumbling around in my heads. It did raise a fun question to me that got me thinking, what would Michael be like in this timeline?

Well for me? If I had to do it, I'd probably go the pathway of one of my favorite unmade Halloween movies. Halloween Returns. Originally to be the next big reboot/retcon of Halloween before Dimension Films lost the rights but from the sounds of it, it was described and honestly came off as less of a reboot or retcon and more of a recalibration. Basically after the night of Michael's murders, after his throw down with Laurie Strode and having disappeared after being shot by Loomis, Michael managed to kill apparently little less than a dozen people before being taken into custody. Set 18 years later, now on death row, Michael escapes and goes on a killing spree in the neighboring town of Russelville. It was an amazing script, timeline was a bit confusing with when it was potentially set, and it was supposed to be the start of a brand new line of Halloween movies with Gary Oldman becoming Dr. Loomis but alas it was not meant to be.

That would be my ideal beginning for Michael in the Slasherverse, a sort of Halloween Returns scenario where Michael would actually be placed in prison for his murders in 1978 and escapes his would be end before going on a killing spree.

Notes:
- Potentially within this, Michael may still hold his familial connection Laurie Strode with her or her offspring coming to a bloody family reunion.

- In this Michael's design goes a bit within and outside of the original. We have Michael in his white mask, the coveralls, and the knife but they are a bit different. In this Michael wears a pair of grey coveralls gained from the prison after his escape, wearing a black t-shirt underneath, and a hybrid mask of Halloween 4/5 which will be pure white and not stretched out. Basically a mass produced version of the mask. The knife, stylized after the 1978 poster knife, has more of a sharp curve to it with the idea behind it that this may in fact be a pumpkin carving knife rather than a butcher knife. A really big pumpkin carving knife.....What? Go big or go home.

- Michael in this would stand at 6'1 and much like all the other original films, we never really show Michael's face, though we get some brief glimpses not of his face but what he looks like. In this Michael is around 41 years old, his hair still being a dirty blond, shaved ala buzzcut prison style. Michael still holds with him the scar from where Laurie stabbed him in the eye, holding that emotionless, cruel gaze that has remained if not hardened over the years.

- A fun little idea I had which was inspired by the image above, the trauma of what happened with Michael Myers in '78 led the town to practically outlaw any mask that even remotely resembles the one used by Michael in his murders. Even some parents would refuse to celebrate Halloween all together showing just how deep of a scar Michael Myers left that night.

So what do you all think, what would you like to see if Michael joined the Slasherverse? Leave a comment below and remember to stay scary everybody!

I like the direction. You took a shitty Halloween script and made it sound decent. I think he would be a great addition in the universe. And the design pays similarities to Halloween 4 & 5.

Thanks, the mask is my personal favorite as it holds a good blend between the two. Paint it pure white and it would be basically a mask you would find at your regular costume shop. And we’ll just have to wait and see once Freddy and Jason are taken care of
