I am making line arts of the four different kinds of dragons in my world. If you want to color, feel free. This is the water dragon... obviouslyWater dragons in my world tend to be somewhat cool colored, with blues and greens and purples a little with some yellow... Their scales shine almost rainbow like you see on the really pretty kind of fish. You can follow that color scheme or not, your choice.

Thank you much, this is my favorite design of the four, I was going for a kitty face because that is how I describe their faces... and the eyes I wanted to have look somewhat cat like but some how fish like at the same time.

I can see what you mean, but I designed the hand to look sort of weird like that because almost all Chinese and Japanese paintings of dragons involve having their arms and legs bending in weird ways, so i figured that kind of dragon just must have extra joints.

Start with the eyes. That is always the fun part, and the center of focus, so the most important part too,a nd if you have momentum built up from that, go on to the leaf like scales over the horns or perhaps jump right into the fur, and then go from there. that is my recommendation. Thanks. ^^
