Description The instructions are a little less detailed, I figured people didn't want to read all that anyway. If you have any questions or want more instruction, feel free to ask. ^__^

It helped me! I have drawn one succesfully, only the four fingers were too far away from the thumb. It ruined the hand.

Well keep working on it, hands are a work-in progress for most of us.

If I could see the picture you drew I might be able to help more, but going off of what you say and looking at the hand you are drawing, here is what I think:

In the photograph the thumb is bending back a bit, and it is a tiny thumb anyway... so it looks, when drawn, to be too small at the end. Try drawing the base the same but making the tip of the thumb a bit bigger, this might make it balance out a bit more, as for the fingers, one thing that makes them look bigger is how you draw the pads connecting to them, it make the fingers feel longer without being drawn ridiculously long. Depending on where you place the lines showing the edges of the pads you can creat an illusion of length or shortness. Try that out, if that still doesn't work, I can only say that you need to upload the image so I can make suggestions on that. Good luck and i hope that helps.
