Description I made a separate image for Kojisai's Tiger, so naturally, when it comes time to start designing Kiala's clothes, I did the same.

Yes, they both have tiger patterns, and the reason is that they are both tigers in a way.

To see this design on a kimono layout, follow this link --> [link]

Now to explain how Kiala and Kojisai are both tigers. Kojisai is obvious. He is half Samo-Yan (forest spirit), and his animal affinity is tiger. This is why he has earned the name "Tiger" in the battle field. He becomes a bit of a legend and then disappears. Enter Kiala. Kiaial was trained by the same master as Kojisai... so her style is similar to his. She, being a girl, does not want to be recognized so she puts on an outfit that completely hides her identity, the only thing that shows through are her striking green eyes, which are very cat-like in color. When people see her in battle, as strong as she is, fighting in the same way Kojisai does (as far as they can see) and seeing how her identity is completely hidden... lets just say that they put these together and come up with the idea that she is the Tiger who disappeared come back to fight again. So naturally, they call her the tiger as well.

On top of that, growing up, her nickname was Tigress, and the animal fits her personality symbolically to a T. With all that considered, she likes tigers, and when it comes to picking out kimono, she would gravitate toward tiger patterns.

So anyway, I hope you like it.

Well I found some reference photographs, and I looked at them when drawing. First I made a rough outline of the shapes of the tigers and the composition. Then I added important details like where the eyes go and about how big they are and that sort of thing. Then on a separate layer, using the reference pictures I drew the stripes and eyes. While doing that, I paid attention to finding ways to use the lines to show the edges and shapes of the tigers. It took two hours total time to do. When I was done, i deleted the sketch layer.

thank you very much.
