I think i'm 17 years late for the Silent Hill 2 craze.

I only just finally got to play Silent Hill 2, and I'm starting to understand more what makes the game and this bloke a scary and creepy experience. If I understand correctly, Pyramid Head is entity reflecting off of James Sunderland or his desire to punish himself. Sunderland first encounters this monstrosity in an apartment complex. In one of the rooms he is seen "having his way" with these other monsters, the Mannequins and killing them... a humanoid entity wearing a bloodstained robe or apron and his easily identified by his huge "Pyramid shaped" helmet... Lord knows whats beneath it.... but he makes the most blood curdling growls and grunts....
