From what I've heard from various venomous snake keepers who keep rattlesnakes, it's definitely more of an individual snake as opposed to a particular species. Individually speaking, some rattlesnakes are incredibly laid back, while others are incredibly high strung.

I was thinking it would be cool to work with rattlesnakes if I know what I'm doing. I've seen a video of a man that had a rattler de-venomed or something, so he was holding it on his shoulders like it was a ball python! Though I don't know if I would risk pissing one off even without venom. I don't like the idea of flesh covered teeth sinking into my own flesh... Eheh...

Removing the snake's venom glands is an inhumane and seriously stupid thing to do, as sometimes the gland grow back.

Well I never said I devenomed anything or would.

I'd still worry even without the venom. Because I don't like the idea of fangs that look that way being in me x3

Yep. Actually, I didn't know they could infect humans.

Oh :c
Yeah it isn't something I hear about often so it isn't thought about often. Still though, on occasion if I get a little nip from a hungry and confused snake.

There is a lot of genetic mutations within rattlers.
