I used a very cool wallpaper i had of Seishirou Sakurazuka from Tokyo Babylon/X-1999 for a reference
This is my thoughts of something that happens in episode 23-24 of Black Lagoon that leads me to suspect that... *gets shot by spoiler police*

She's also got that cold detachment from those outside Hotel Moscow - she'd splat Revy's brains on the wall as soon as look at her - if "business" called for it.
Actually she'd *try* to avoid it, but wouldn't let it stop her if it was unavoidable... That's more like her.

It may be because of the element of danger she embodies. Danger can be considered sexy to some. This woman is a Mafia boss and she couldn't have maintained that without dealing with SOME threats to her power efficiently. This woman WAS trained by the most formidible military talents the Soviet Union had to offer. (I think she may have been Spetsnaz) We never really see her in physical action but we can tell by looking that this is a woman you do *NOT* want to fuck with. She wouldnt NEED her lackeys to mess up up for good.
If she had to she could probably give Revy or Roberta or any of the other female powerhouses in the show a run for their money in combat prowess.
Also her smoking a cigar adds to the power image she exudes. She's cool and confident. She's a survivor. She wears her scars like a badge of honor. She's smart. This makes her sexy.
