Such great work, seriously. I love what you've come up with with the design and the character ( isn't he a hindu god? ) looks very threatening. The colours are really great, even though I don't know if this could get tattoeed precisely like this - whatever the case, I'm sure it wouldn't be changed much. Very detailed work and living lines, I like the outcome. Wonder where the tattoo is supposed to be placed? Great work! (:

It was meant to cover a girls back, from the nape of the neck to the base of the spine. There's quite a lot of people with Ganesh tattoo's so I did a much more western style one just to be a little different.

That's really the only place I could ever imagine someone getting this, because the tattoo holds so much details so that it wouldn't be done properly to a smaller place.
I think your style definately works on it - the piece is gorgeus.
