I think my only crit on this would be the lighting on the (viewer's) right knee -- seems a bit strong.
On with the praise! The color palette you selected for this is truly gorgeous. The lighting around the energon cube-let is dead on. Fantastic stuff.

Very, very cool. And everything's glowy! *gasps and falls over* Ahem... Well, very awsome indeed.
I do think that the explosions don't look much like explosions, and more like red-ish glows, although the holes through the buildings look pretty good. And I like how you don't notice the holes in the buildings because the explosions don't look like explosions though, because at first it looks like nothing is wrong with the city, which goes well with the "saviour, destroyer" at the bottom.
And the character reminds me of G1 Megs but even shmexier, and a little younger.
