How do you do that? I've been wanting to animate sticks like that for a while now, but I haven't had much luck... Any advice?

practice EVERY DAY.
if you don't practice consistently, you'll start to lose your skill, seriously.
and look at some tutorials on youtube, that's what i've been doing.
i hope i helped lol, i'm not so good at giving advice.
