Just watched Afro Samurai Resurrection recently and I got the urge to draw Lady Sio. Also decided to try out my first ever cell shaded drawing. Its not really that difficult once the lines and flat colors have been placed.Related content

Yeah I know it was a bit repetitious with the title give-away. I think the comment was just summat to cover the blank. She is supposed to be the sister of afro's best friend, the teddy bear head. She's all grown up and wants revenge on Afro for what he supposedly did to her bro, now go and watch it, lol

Thanks I know, I wasn't trying to copy the art style. I was just practicing my first cell shaded image. I know its very soft compared to the Anime. You will also notice the face doesn't look like the one in the anime at all, that's also coz I drew her to my liking. The purpose of this image is to try out the cell shade coloring but thanks for the feedback. In the anime the color is more sharp and the highlight and glow is very soft am I right. This creates a very strong contrast between the characters and the weaponry.
