Commission ArtworkIn 1815, Rupsingh Nayak was born in the Jambughoda state village of Nathpari. A hereditary Girasi right to the Jinjar village of Narukot Colony belonged to his father, Gobar Nayak. The Nayak Adivasis movement, which lasted for three decades from 1838 to 1868, was founded by Rupsingh Nayak.
