i don't care what people say, ballpoint pens are the shit. so yeah, this is scene from blackheartrupture's: [link] fan fic [link] . it's pretty much the scene at the end of chapter 7. but i'm not going to link that cuz you should just go read the whole thing. go now. it is <3.and NO, i know it looks like Johnny C., but i assure you that is Jhonen V. he just lost his glasses in a car crash and, well, just go read! GO NOW!!!

*tilts head* Great, and ballpoint is teh shit, though it takes some playing arout to get a good handling of being able to use it for art. I'm unsure of whats going on in the pic. It's great, don't get me wrong, but i don't know whats going on with the monster-zombie things hand and Jhonens. I haven't seen Silent Hill in liek 80 years, and I probably should buy the game, for i played one of the demos and the floating zombies that inhabited the subway ate me... it was fun ;]

yeah... weird thing is that is started drawing in pencil (the style for this was a love-child of mine and Jhonen's style... that was one sweaty night....) and the prospective was much more to the side than the deep head on focus i ended up with. but when easy view with pencil didnt work out, i went all stupid and thought "i'll just try a harder prospective and- AND! i'll draw in PEN!!! sometimes stupid works i guess....
the only thing im not really happy with is Jhonen's face. it looks like he's thinking "ewww, icky!" as opposed to "holy FUCK!!!" which is what i was going for.

aw, well i guess it's in the artist's nature not to be too fond of their work.
Everything i make always has one existing flaw that i can never get rid of. and sometimes i start my pictures over for the stupidest reasons like one line curves sharply by just a little which would ruin the entire thing if i went any further. so i scrap it heh. but still this piece is fucking sex! I LOVE IT!
