Description I've been reading the Robotech: Sentinels comics as well as the Prelude to the Shadow Chronicles, and what can I say... I really don't think it's just a coincidence that these two met =')

Looking back at the "Southern Cross" part of Robotech after all these years, I realize Zor Prime was actually kind of a jerk xDD And the original Zor was an ambitious, unscrupulous man :S

On the other hand, after reading the comics (not really interested in the novels ^^u), I think Rem is the only "Zor clone" that stands out; he really is a man on himself, and I think it's all thanks to Cabell =') And he's really funny, too xD

And since that horrible storyline of Rem and Minmei having a baby in a parallel universe is now considered secondary canon (yeah!!!), I gave myself permission to draw this little piece.

A mature Robotech Master and a date in Tiresia is all Dana Sterling really needs to go back to her cheerful self

Talk about second chances...

Probably the most interesting thing done with Dana in years, the southern Cross being completely forgotten. Well we have until 2021 to see how they shape up. After that they may only have Southern Cross & Mospeada

This is kinda awkward, since in the novels Dana makes clear that being around Rem is like being around Zor's corpse. And she asked Bowie that if Musica had died instead of Octavia, if he could have looked at Muscia's sisters ever without being tortured.Β

I thought about changing Rem's clothes BUT then I thought that maybe this is some kind of traditional costume or whatever, and this is their first date in Tiresia, so Dana, being an Earthling and all, decides to wear a pretty dress, but Rem decides to wear his most formal, elegant, traditional Robotech Master robes, just so she knows who she's dealing with

This OTP rules xD I wish it was canon, specially because in the books Rem doesn't seem very happy in the end, with Minmei pregnant with baby Zor. It's like he's doomed forever to repeat the cycle :S ...

yes! i wanna Rem with Dana in canon too))) even wrote their story (meeting hehe) in my Robotech fanfic last year ))) (but when i thought of them two - i learn that they went a long way to their first date)

about Β Rem clothes. I think he is the one to break rules. when at last he stayed alive (neither suicide, no sacrifice) he broke his fate. so now i see him wearing jeans andΒ checkered shirt ))) no matter he's forty or so years old, no matter he is Zors ofspring and the "owner "of robotechnology ... he is still teen rebel. IMHO

Oh, I'd love to read that fan fiction, I've been searching the internets for any story including Dana and Rem as a couple, and I have found none

Now that I think about it, I kindof like the idea of a "rebellious" Rem...

This is sort of weird, but I've always shipped these two in my mind, particularly after I read all the different official and unofficial stories where they met that DIDN'T ship them... Ah, I wish that HG would be willing to over write the planned ending to make this perfect relationship...

I know how you feel... I mean, there's tremendous potential for a wonderful relationship and a closure to Dana's past experience with Zor (it's been like 15 years or more since he died, and it's not like they actually had a relationship!). Besides, they could add a kick-ass kid for future generations... Max and Miriya's grandkid, I bet he/she would be an amazing pilot xD

Awesome!!! I allways be a little obsesed by Dana and Zor afterall...and I think as you... horrible story about Rem-Janice/ Rem-Minmei... Don't like at all... I would prefer that Dana and Rem would be together... seems more logic to me... great design of a modern look on Dana... I love it!!!

Never liked Minmei.

As for Dana...I kind of felt sorry for her...her parents leave her on Earth supposedly looking for the Masters (only to have the Masters show up AFTER they left) and I just never understood why they didn't just take her along.

Yeah, poor Dana... I guess that's one of the reasons she seems so cold and depressed in recent comics (other reasons being Zor Prime's death and the whole Invid invasion).

As for Minmei, I don't like her either, but I still think she deserves a better life than what she's got so far... she should be sent somewhere safe where she can go back to singing, instead of being thrown into any other man's arms =7

On an amusing note...I like how you got rid of Dana's exploding "80's hair".

I remember some friends of mine joking about how the Masters could have gotten rid of "troublesome half-breed micronian".

"All we need to do is arm our security personnel with a can of aerosol spray and a lighter...causing their hair to catch of fire and consume them in a violent inferno..."

Dana's hair was unbelievable, I'm glad they changed her hair a little bit for the "Love and War" comics ([link] , it would've been too much to keep her original hairstyle for the Shadow Chronicles.

On a side note, I'm thinking about commissioning someone to do a pic of Dana Sterling (without the 80s hair) meeting Natasha Kerensky from Battletech(probably both of them pointing a gun at each-other's head).

I'm afraid I don't know that character... I googled Battletech, though, and I noticed that it is related with the "MechWarrior" video games. I played a little bit of MechWarrior 2 back in the 90s
