Description L from Death Note

Old deviation from Kezay, did some work on it ( i love borders ) but i still am unsatisfied with it. Just wanted something to upload.

EDIT: Re-scanned original with some slight shading changes, eliminated the weird blur, added some color.[My scanner is still a butt....ugh]

HA! Not harsh at all- all my thoughts exactly. I did this so long ago, i may have actually lost the original, so i did so bad blurring effects to cover up some bad mistakes...i don't know if it looks better with or without it...And yeah, i was thinking about coloring just the apple...

Thanks for your comment, it reinforces that i need to still fix this~ thanks a lot hen- i may just try to find the original and improve it manually.

In my opinion the blur tool should never be used in drawing. It doesn't make things look better. Using a paintbrush with low opacity is a much better option. There are brushes that mimic graphite as well, you know

Heh, haven't watched that much Death Note aside from an episode or so, but the show is pretty cool with a good original concept to it.

Man, gotta love the professionalism going on here. The varying textures between L's wings and the hair, as well as his shirt really show off some interesting elements. Not to mention I think it's well pulled off in general.

Great work Kez--I'm blown away right here, and for the countless DN fan art there is on dA, this is the one that deserves a solid Daily Deviation.

DD0 really?!- i dont think i could handle all the flames i would get XD

glad you like it!!! i like it too( i hardly ever like my shaded works but this turned out overall the best of them) I may change a few things so it doesn't have such a awkward look to it. Thanks so much!
