Story
In the aim of trying to get some amazing offspring out of his favourite mare, Lee started the arduous task of finding an appropriate stallion for her. He browsed studbooks and registries, made shortlists that turned into long lists and then eventually gave up. He sat one spring night leafing listlessly through a horse newsletter, hoping to spot something. Amber sat opposite him at the table, mug of coffee in one hand, a magazine in the other. "Ooh, what about Willowglen?" She suddenly piped up. Shoving the magazine towards him. Lee blinked for a moment and gazed at the glossy page. The Arabians looked stunning and perfect, grazing in green pastures with gleaming coats of remarkable colour.
"Hmm," he pondered, scanning over their ad page.
"Give them a ring, ask for a list of studs," Amber provoked gently, sliding the phone towards him. He agreed and called Willowglen, hoping they would hold the answer.

A few days later the email appeared with a list of studs and their images. Amber rested her chin on Lee's shoulder as she read the email with him. "Oh, what about him?" She mused as she pointed at a beautiful chestnut stallion. "Ibn Inshalla... ooh he looks lovely." Lee nodded in agreement, but carried on scrolling down. Suddenly Amber squealed, deafening him slightly. He frowned and looked at her. "Look at him! Lee, Lee look!" He glanced back to the computer screen to see a beautiful black chestnut stallion, stood proud and strong.
"Says here he's Inshalla's son," he said quietly, reading the information. The more he read, the more he fell in love. "I think this is the one," he mused softly, reaching for the phone. Amber bounced slightly as she pressed her ear to the phone too to listen in. "Hello? Oh hey, this is Lee from Firelight, I rang the other day requesting a stud list? Yes... Yes they're all so beautiful, but I think we've decided... Shezan, is he still open? ... He is? Fantastic." After a few minutes, the arrangements had been made. Priscilla would fly to Willowglen for her covering in just a few weeks.

As they unloaded the small grey mare, she threw her head up and whinnied loudly. Her ears were perked forwards and her tail held high, the scent of stallion making her stretch tall and elegant. Lee had just finished taking her rugs off when he felt Amber punch him on the arm. "Lee!" She hissed, gazing off towards the stables. "Look." He straightened up from unfastening Prissy's boots to see a handler leading Shezan across the yard. His coat was like melted chocolate, gleaming in the sunlight. Prissy whinnied excitedly to him, and the stallion halted stock still to stare over at her. He returned her call with a shrill whinny before being led on towards the pen where they would meet. Lee grinned and glanced at Amber, casting the blankets and boots into the back of the truck.
"Let's go," he said with a broad smile.
