Description So I started work at a heavy horse rescue centre today. I drew this pretty much from memory, I just needed to look at a photo of him to get his face markings right. We took William to a funeral to lead the procession, and he was a good boy. I have taken quite the liking to him. Anyway... this is about as good as my art gets lately. Just thought I'd upload it for people to see.

Colour: Black with white face and legs

William was rescued along with his mother, May, who has sadly passed away. The funeral today was his first outing without his mother.

It's really lovely! Especially without the reference. He's beautiful, sad about his mum though. Glad to see something from you mate. Made me smile when I checked the messages.

Thank you very much I just kinda sat down and drew it, because I spent the day with William, and he really took my heart. He's absolutely gorgeous, and a real playful boy haha. His mum was lovely, I bet he misses her. I'm glad you like it ^^

Thank you I hate doing manes normally, but I tried something new with this and it worked quite well I think ^^ I've come a long way traditionally.

I love them too. I get to work with 4 beautiful shire horses and a percheron, and they're all gorgeous and soft as melted butter haha.
