You definitely captured him very well! He looks very true to his original design and character. very innocent and hungry looking here. XD (wonder how long until he tries to eat the cupcakes in the background too XD) So huggable but still with those sharp little claws. I love it!

Digimon is a good franchise. I have taken my fair share of inspiration from the designs (though some started as pure ripoffs and evolved from there.)

Haha yeah... it's a great franchise. I always loved that the designs were a mix of cute but deadly creatures that seemed to have a lot of personality at the same time. and yeah... I think a lot of our early ideas are pretty much rip offs. XD

I actually checked it already. I'm just the type of person who doesn't comment often (though I'm trying to comment more frequently) and I tend to read a book completely before I decide whether or not I like it. But so far I'm interested to see where it'll go.

Aesk looks... rather odd for a dragon to be honest XD, but I still find him kinda likable in the comic OwO (I guess it's just his creator's art style 
And yeah, he does look like he could be a Digimon lol

I think that the creator took inspiration from JRPG:s (at least when looking through their gallery I can see a lot of JRPG like esthetics(?).) or manga/anime. Also, in my opinion, Aesk is bit anthro-like so maybe that's why he is bit odd for a dragon.
