Mini sculptures I made out of the Crayola model magic material. The stuff's actually quite fun to work with ^^So I made Mokona Modokis from Tsubasa RC/xxxHolic ^^ they're cute!
The bottom pink thing is the character from the book Chii always reads in Chobits, dunno its name.
I painted them with acrylic paint, then added the eyes with a marker. The black Mokona has no face T_T ...
The size is about an inch or so high, not too big.
The lighting's weird.. so the photo colours are weird too T_T

Aww, they're so sweet, I almost want to go and read the comics to see them. I can't see the little black rabbit's eyes; I wonder if it's smiling too, like the white one. ^^ What do they feel like? This site [link] says "Model Magic" dry "spongy and bendy" but they look solid in the photo. XD
I wanted a try too after you showed me your M&M figures (upload!), but I couldn't find any "Model Magic" anywhere so I got "Crafts Fun Fair Paper Clay" instead. Only when I try sculpting myself do I realise just how difficult it is! It's very unlike plasticine which I'm actually okay with using (but I only got brown plasticine and that's too ugly, and I can't work with coloured plasticine because it's far too easy to be careless and "contaminate").
Was trying to make a Rau Le Creuset and Captain Ramius (*hugs them*) but this paper clay stuff is horrendous. I had no way of stopping the outside of the clay cracking two minutes after it's taken out, so now I got a really cracked up Creuset >< ... and the little trademark spike in Murrue's hair keeps falling off TT_TT... lol, I won't ask for your modelling secrets

They do dry somewhat spongy and flexible. It's not like with traditional clay where it drys hard and brittle, this stuff is kinda squishy, and it's really really light, like there's airbubbles in it or something. But it holds really well together (unless you cut it or something) if you molded it well when it was wet. I think they look solid in the photo (esp the black one) was due to the acrylic paint. I think you can actually use markers on this too.
brown plasticine.. you can always try painting it
yeah it was actually harder than I thought >_< even with the Model Magic stuff... especially if you're trying for something small... and the faces look weird T_T I'll upload them when I get my camera back, to take better photos >_<

Oh yeah. Funimation picked out the voice actors for Tsubasa Chronicles ^^ I personally like all of the choices, though I don't recognize the woman who's gonna be Mokona.
They have a short video from a convention of the voice director introducing the voices on the funimation website. It's worth taking a look at. I especially like Fai and Syaoran's chosen voices. ^^

I think "atashi" means "I" or "me", so I don't think it's a name really. I don't think it's supposed to have a name...
