Just imagining how difficult the leaves would have been to work with made me want to fave this. You've also taken a lovely shot of your work.

thanks

the leaves aren't too hard to work with when they're fresh, but when they get dry, they tend to crack, and become hard to use.

You must have very nimble fingers.

I remember these. They're just so pretty.
These would probably make lovely gifts?

thanks

yeah, I did give it to something people. The thing is, after they're dried, they're not quite as pretty (they do retain the colour, but it's more dull)

Never mind - real roses would die faster anyway.

Waaaaugh! pretty! X3

Each time I walk by a maple tree on campus (and there are a lot of them) I'm tempted to pick leaves up and just start making maple-roses. Alas, I still haven't done it... urrr...

Haha, I always pick leaves off the tree (rather than the ground, 'cause it's better to use soft leaves so they don't crack and break when you fold them) when I see a pretty maple (esp orangey-red ones) XD Now I have sooo many maple roses I dunno what to do with them after XD

Haha, enter a craft show and sell them all XD

...actually, that's not an entirely terrible idea I bet you could actually make a pretty penny off of something like that XD

waa ... kawaii! I'll have to make some of these one day ... (not meny maple trees growing around though ... but maybe I can make something out of corn leafs)

I especially love the colors, and the shot (you're quite the fotographer)

You should try it, they're fun (and addictive) to make I've tried using other leaves, but found maples to be the best, since they have a long stem and good-sized leaves. Never tried with corn leaves though.. that'd be interesting I wanna see it if you ever make them ^^

Thanks ^^
