Description wheeee uploading spree!!!

Ahem. anyway, I just got Paint Shop Pro 8 and am testing out the program. I was too lazy to draw a new pic, so dug this old sketch that I had done a while ago out of my file and coloured it. Paintshop likes me a lot better than Photoshop does

I really like how the hair turned out . I the magic wand tool . with it, I don't even need to use layers (though that's handy too ). I'm also in love with smudging

no background this time, couldn't be bothered to find the right one. might be a separate bg sometime though...

so here he is, Shigure's disembodied head in all its glory

You know what, it really looks like its jumped straight out of the book, which is pretty damn cool!! But is still your style which is important...

Shigures hair is a bugger to colour I wonder if the artist drew it this way to make him different to Hatori, as sometimes they can look very similar.

yeah Shigure's hair's not fun to do, esp when you can't smudge (like when I use MS Paint...). and I agree, Hatori and Shigure's hairstyles are quite similar (I love them both though ), in fact, there's a pic of Hatori at the end of vol 2 that looked so much like Shigure that my friend (who's well acquainted with the series) thought it was Shigure... It's even more confusing sometimes that Hatori's hair is coloured lighter than usual... I've got a good way to tell them apart: I look at their eyes. Hatori's eyes are different from all the other characters, it's not coloured like the others', it looks really pale..

I have my own style?...

Yeah thats true,. his pupils are very different, it makes him very striking and easier to draw

aww, you poor thing...

that sounds like what happened with Photoshop and me. every time I open a file, before I can work on anything, it freezes on me...
