trying to spend more time on drawing. did this in about 2 hours. i really want to do some more season 5 art.Related content

I've really wanted to for a while. but i don't have a webcam and i really don't know how to set that stuff up maybe it can be done with my ipad. ill have to look into that haha.

Im glad you made it, but my set up was horrible haha i have a little Shelf above my desk so i laid a book on there to give iT more hight i laid my phone on iT And to avoid iT from falling i laid another book on that also balancing everything And finding THE richt angle was hard. I also had to shove Some buisnesscards in there to male iT all horizontal. Long story short everything fell down twice. Also livestreams connection is terrible i had to start my stream over for 5 times And i couldnt trad Any comments. So i think im just going record myself And put iT on YouTube that Way you Can SER iT better And Thalys les struggles for me.

You were right. It doesn't sound like an ideal setup. And I thought mine
was gimmicky! For starters, if you're going to stream, you need a proper
webcam to capture your artwork. Webcams likeΒ these will do great.
They connect to your computer through USB and is easy to setup. This
should also give you a bit better connection through your computer, but
it's still better if you're close to your wifi router.
Here's how my setup looked like. I just strapped the camera to a stick
which was then mounted on a tripod. Since your location is on a shelf,Β
all you need to do is just tape down an end of the webcam, and there should
be arms which you can just adjust to get the downward angle. It's really just
tinkering around to get the best position for streaming. I hope this helps you
out! If not, I'm sure Youtube will work out great as well

Yeah a webcam would be better. Im just really lazy haha XD Your setup looks really Nice btw loot of space on your desk must be really Nice to work on. My desk if full With electronics And school stuff so finding space is a bit hard haha. But now i have my new laptop i Can stream digital art so there Will be streams just not traditional yet

To be honest, I felt it was a poor, temporary setup but it has actually
come to work out well.Β
My desk isn't as nice as it seems because the grains on the wood haven't
been sanded down so my pencil just gets stuck in them. 
have so much space though! It's all about organizing your stuff (;
Ohh yes, your new computer! It should be a cinch to stream digital art
now. It's much more convenient. I'd love to see your recordings!

but there arnt any videos there that i like so i just have to record more haha. as for the wood you can just lay a mat under it to prevent that i don't know where they sell them but I've seen many artist use them. but like i said i just need the time to figure everything out haha until then only digital videos and streams

I throug Bristol board was a paperbrand haha i mean like plastic mats made entitely for artists. But im sure you van find iT at Wallstreet or something.Β

Yeah, that is a bit of problem, but it is better to busy than slacking off at least. Β
But surely you will not be busy forever. Maybe you should consider writing a list of all the things you want to draw. That way, whenever you actually get the time and feel like drawing, you will have no problem remembering all of the things you wanted to draw, but did not have the time for initially.Β Β
But anyway, you just do what you have to do, and then we will see.Β Β

I've been doing that for some time i have some sketches and some ideas written down so when I've got more time you will see more of me haha. so since i have vacation in a week it won't take much longer haha
also i don't know why but a watercolor like this is way easier and relaxter for me than digital so i think ill do ore of those since i also want to practice mixen colors.

I kind of figured you would already have a written list of ideas, as it is my impression that most of the more accomplished artists here on DA keep one. But I thought I would suggest it anyway just to be sure.Β Β

Although I would not really know, I would assume that digital art, with the immense amount of options and possibilities it offers, can also feel somewhat overwhelming or stressful. Β
Whereas traditional art is probably more straight forward, and probably also feels more simple and sincere in its application. But as I said, I would not know.Β Β
But whatever the case, I totally think you should try out some more watercolour work. Especially based on how you just told me you feel about it. Β

An excellent job putting clear detail and non-washed-out shapes into watercolours. Particular bonus points for not making the headpiece look painted on, but as its own solid physical object. And of course, it's great to see a watercolour of Yodacora to begin with. Great job!
