Water colour is always messy and that's the same here - but good, clean water colour is almost impossible. But it definitely does lend to the randomness of motion, the fluidity of their clothes, and most importantly their motions. It also gives me the impression that to them, nothing else exists but the two of them. And that is fantastic.
