I present a mod I've been working on for over a year, am really proud of, and wanted to share with everyone! This is Family Fighter V!

As I normally play with our family, and have bought the Championship Edition Upgrade a while back, we discovered there were many costumes that as a family, we felt were inappropriate. Thus, this mod was born. It replaces a total of 58 costumes with mods that are all free, with mods that we felt were more appropriate. I understand not everyone may agree with my preferences and tastes, but even if you don't, you can look at it as a combination mod of sorts, and consider it as a pack of 58 mods for SFV! This is likely going to work best if you have the SF:CE as well, or many characters unlocked.

As far as I know, there are no conflicts with the mod itself, but it is possible it may conflict with existing mods. If so, you can either remove the other mod, or if you are a bit more skilled, you can copy the original game files to the other mod, but do not overwrite any existing mod files. That should prevent graphical glitches and such.

Also, this is for the characters only, it does not affect inappropriate sound, voices, etc., or any written text, like subtitles. Keep in mind, many of these costumes may break, crash the game, or have less appropriate versions using the costume code than without it, so I recommend not using the costume code for any mods in here. If you do, you do so at your own risk as they have not been tested with the costume code, only with the mod as installed.

However, keep an eye out, as I will be releasing those mods as soon as I can. It is hard, as when CAPCOM releases an update, all that stuff must be redone.

I know this is not everyone's cup of tea, and that is fine. However, I hope someone will get some use and enjoyment out of all my hard work on this mod.

Of course, thanks to all the great modders who have worked hard, and allowed everyone to use their mods for free.

One final note, I manually swapped all mods to whatever slots I needed, and made various other changes as needed. If you find any problems, you can let me know, but your best bet is to ask on Modderbase.com, as there is a huge amount of helpful info,and they are generally friendly there. I am not likely going to be modifying this mod because it is such a giant size, unless I get new characters or costume slots. I bought the Champion Edition upgrade on sale, which included most. It did not include Dan, Rose, Akira, Oro, or Luke. As I get them, I will update the mod if needed.

I recommend using FluffyQuack Mod Manager to install the mod, you can simply drag the Family Fighter V.rar file into the mod manager. Alternately, you can place the Family Fighter V.rar file directly into the FluffyQuack Mod Manager mod folder location (\modmanager\Games\SF5\Mods\). Because it is so big, it is possible that the Mod Manager may pause for a while while installing it, so be patient, and shortly it will start loading the files. There is also a .pak version included, but I have not tested it, as I do not use that method. I personally chose to put the mods in the specific slots where they are, so as I mentioned above, if you want a character from here swapped to a different slot, you should ask for one on modderbase.com (modderbase.com/showthread.php?… ), as I am not likely to make any swaps for this mod. It may be best to use the original link, rather than this one. All are included in the download, I don't take credit for making any of the mods in here in their original form, all credit goes to the original authors.
