Well this was a quickie I did out of boredom and lust for blood. I enjoy testing out things and blood was something I wanted to play around with.
Shira was my victim!
((Personally I believe Shira is a boy, here's one example of proof: www.youtube.com/watch?v=GdZrQV… He's called a 'guy' here. I don't think women are often refereed to as 'guy' unless it's referring to a group of people; 'Hey guys!'))

Yeah, Shiranui is male from what I know, BUT Amaterasu is  Sun 'Godess' according to legend. So He's a male wolf possessed by a female Godess, I guess?

This is fantastic.. jsut words cannot explain how much I love this... ( maybe a bit too much of a fixation on blood~<3) And yeah, even in the beginning I always thought Shiranui was a male where as Amaterasu was female; same entity but different forms.

Very beautiful, yet the feeling is so depressing for Shiranui during the scene. You've really caught the look but if you added the background it would give more of the feeling/area to it. Great work for just a 'quickie', haha.

Thank you! I was almost going to do a background... but then I just wanted to be done, and the white atmosphere... I kinda liked. ^-^ But the white tentacles would have stood out better on a background.

in the original shiranui is female in okamiden it is male..i think its safe to say shira has no gender or capcom fucked up somewhere :l

No in Japan wolf deities are always male, even if they actually are female they are called a male out of respect. Which is why in Spice and Wolf there are a few occasions where Holo is called a male, or at least it's implied anyhows.

No, nothing in the game is an animal deity. This is an old sun god, not a wolf god. It is just manifested as a wolf. Anime doesn't apply to actual lore. But even Ammy who is the 'new' sun goddess in the game is a female and refereed to as the 'mother.' You'd have to know the game to understand.

No I think I get it and HOLY MOTHER OF DUCK a siren just went off and it scared the hell out of me. XD so yeah I understand, they use this in Princess Mononoke though, in subs not the dub Morro has a male voice actor playing her. I messed with my brain the first time I heard it. >.>

That's amazing!!
I only found out recently that Shiranui actually got stabbed right through because in the game itself there's no blood so I couldn't quite tell even though it showed him being stabbed.
But anyway! Completely amazing!!
