Description
My take on Sauron's specially bred trolls from Mordor. I still insist on drawing hairy trolls after the Scandinavian fashion, rather than giving them scales. Besides that I've stayed true to Tolkien's description of them wielding hammers and having big round shields. The design of the helmet is inspired by the gear that orcs wore in the Rankin-Bass animated "Return of the King".Related content

Perhaps. It would explain from what the trolls were originally bred, if Morgoth and other evil forces are unable to create new life.
