How were goblins & goblin society set up in that game?

In a Castles & Crusades game (A D&D clone RPG) I ran a game were I had goblins descended from fairy creatures.  The males had orange to reddish-orange skin & were more stereo typical monster looking while the females looked like short elvish girls with green skin & sharper "Cuspid" teeth.  Both sexes had yellow "Cat's Eyes" type eyes.  They never ran into one, but I had rare "High-Goblins" that were extremely magical & looked more like elves (also think Jereth from the Labrynth movie.)
