A character I'd come up with for a Super Mario fan site's message board (namely, the roleplaying forum there). I know, I know, Yoshis are probably the most overdone species of Mario fan character. Sue me. I did have a Birdo and a Pidgit in mind, in addition, but I felt like drawing this one up. Since Yoshis have anatomy I'm not used to drawing, I had to get help from a YouTube video ([link] ). Still not used to drawing freehand...

As you can see, part of her design is inspired by Boshi from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars -- the choker, shades and open-toe boots. With an unoriginal species comes an unoriginal backstory -- she'd grown up on Yo'ster Isle, and had thought Boshi was the bee's knees, so she had imitated his style of... very little clothing.
