Inspired by many things.
First probably an RP I participated last night, also that drawing did, Destruction of Robotropolis
This took me about an hour because I wasn't so sure what I wanted to draw. It started as a regular Julian drawing and I just keep adding details and details until this came out. Lately I've been color/shading with the pencil instead of just doing line art more often. I'm loosing up, which is good news. I also had a little incident that got me feeling gloom and I usually reflect it in my drawings. People have questioned me if I do it to channel my own pain to a character. Maybe I make a character feel what I do but always give it a reason. Maybe they're right maybe they're wrong. I'm certainly not sure but what the heck. I personaly think that when a character's drawn in some sort of pain or suffer one gets the feel of it as more human, more real. Sometimes one can feel identified by it, it's not that I like hurting my characters.

This is my version of the SatAM Robotnik (Who I usually refer to as Julian 'cuz it's his real name and so there no confusion between him and Sega’s). Both his legs are robotiziced because of an accident he had. (Read: Dream Fanfic ).
This is after he and his Swatbot crew got ambushed by an unknown enemy (I'm still not sure who but you can bet it wasn't Sonic), all of his Swatbots got destroyed and he was badly hurt/damaged.
So now, after an incredible fight between both sides he stands there staring at the eyes of the one who planed this, who's in probably worst or as bad as him. Ready for one final showdown. Who will emerge victorious? Will the planet be rid of the evil dictator once and for all? Stay tuned....ahem.

Now let's see how well I made this. Look at his face, his expression, his eyes...
