The Myers-Briggs type index was created about 40 years ago, but I only found out about it last year. It actually helped me understand my personality strengths and weaknesses better, and helped me understand others a little better too.
Another MLP MBTI chart exists on Pintrest, but I'm pretty sure it was made before the end of S2. I wanted to include Sweetie and Scootaloo, I really did, but I couldn't find a good personality fit for Scootaloo. Sweetie might have fit ENTP, but I didn't want Scootaloo to be the only CMC left out.
And I'm sorry some of the poor picture qualities; I screencapped each character's best face from different sources.

Luna? The only true INFJ in the show (In my opinion) is Starlight Glimmer. She's the one I connect to the most. And you know how she's compared to Hitler (sadly)... well, Hitler was a corrupted INFJ.

IΒ΄m an INFP-T (Cadence). I thought I was either going to be an INFP or an ISFP (whoΒ΄s that pony if I may ask?). I used to be an ISFP for sure, but I think I changed into a INFP. (altough I still donΒ΄t like arguments and conflicts.) I donΒ΄t like it when people yell.

Thanks for making this MBTI chart for your fellow bronies! 
Since learning about MBTI from an emotional intelligence class, I had been wondering which profile Princess Celestia would fit. To be honest, I like her a lot, but I could not understand why there were many individuals I met (on the internet) that seemed to strongly dislike her.
After visiting the INTJ "Architect" profile on 16Personalities, it began to make more sense to me:
"INTJs form just two percent of the population, and women of this personality type are especially rare, forming just 0.8% of the population β it is often a challenge for them to find like-minded individuals..." - 16Personalities
ON the flip-side however, I saw Katniss on the same profile, and people seem to like her a lot. Hmm...

The funny thing is that I like Celestia more than Katniss, or at least book!Katniss. I think INTJs can come across as unsympathetic and emotionally distant. But the reason I didn't like book!Katniss much is because she wasn't very smart.

I feel Princess Celestia may have elements from other profiles as well, besides INTJ. When I took the test to find her profile, I got ENFJ (Cheerilee) for her. (Which I find pretty neat, since Nicole voice-acted both Cheerilee and Princess Celestia.)
I feel this profile also fits Princess Celestia well, i.e. I feel she was an excellent mentor for Twilight, she always gave her undivided attention to those nearby her (even if she was busy), she started a school for unicorns, etc.

Yeah, I think Jennifer Lawrence made Katniss more likeable and emotional.
As for Celestia's personality, she's still had little enough screentime to allow for different interpretations. I definitely see her as more of an introvert, though. While she is approachable for a princess, she takes a very hooves-off approach when dealing with other ponies' concerns. And she's always seemed generally reserved to me, contrasting with someone more outgoing like Pinkie or Rainbow.
With the T-F or Thinking-Feeling spectrum she's harder to pin down. I like the view that she's a master planner, but she has also made a lot of mistakes. And she clearly values relationships and making ponies feel good. So it's a toss up.

Yeah, I agree with you here too. I was talking to my sis' about why it seems more fans favor Luna, and I think it's because we get a bit more backstory on her, than we do for Celestia. I guess more of us can relate to Luna, since we know some of her history.

It seems like Luna has always been more popular than Celestia, and the fact that she's gotten more focus in the show has made her even more popular. I do hope they make an episode that gives Celestia a chance to shine. I love Luna, but I think Celestia needs more love too.

I have removed my comments because I was wrong. I was very, very wrong. That scenario test I did on Personality Cafe was flawed and the people on there confused me.

I tested INTJ on some tests, but that's only one letter difference as opposed to two. Is it possible that you're just borderlineΒ in some areas? It is possible to be "ambiverted" (halfway between introverted and extroverted).
Or maybe 16 Personalities is flawed, but I liked it because of the sliding scale.

It's true that Pinkie and Rarity could go either way, but Rarity has an eye for detail and loves experimenting within her field, which fits "Perception". And "Sensing" fits Pinkie because she's impulsive and doesn't overthink things.
