I love her costumes too, but I totally agree with you: This movie is too much weird to me... I don't know, but something in the graphical design bothers me a lot... :/

It's definitely a case of Uncanny Valley with all the hyper-realistic CGI. They look like creepy meat-puppets.

It's weird, artificial... They tried to do something hight tech and cool, but we can barely notice some actors in the movie, they changed so much their features making their faces be totally diferent than the real one! o.O

Me too!
I'd love to have several of the dresses that have drawn, but I always think of where I would keep them all? My wardrobe is not big enough for even a tenth of those dresses that I wish I had!

How sad was she?
But unfortunately, stories like hers were very common in the past ... Women used as objects of bargaining, settling for a life of misfortunes by total lack of alternatives. Thankfully, this has been changing through the centuries

It's kind of infuriating since that didn't even happen in the original story >_>V

Well if you go on SparkNotes or even Wikipedia, there's a synopsis of the story and Wealtheow didn't become Beowulf's new waifu at all, LOL
