Description
A properly colored version of my last deviation. I tried to use purples instead of white and black for shadows and highlights and I kinda like it.

Yeah, there's a big difference.
Tokyo Mew Mew is a Japanese anime and manga. It's the one where the pink girl's name is Ichigo. The manga was translated into English by Tokyopop, and is available at your local bookstore. (Tokyo Mew Mew is the GOOD version. The original version.)
When 4Kids Entertainment, the company that dubbed things like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh from Japanese into English for American TV, bought Tokyo Mew Mew, they changed the name to "Mew Mew Power". They got crappy voice actors, changed the plot, and generally turned a great series into a little girls' show with crude humor. X_x
The Tokyo Mew Mew original manga is available at most bookstores, and the subtitled anime is usually on eBay for a reasonable price.

Okay, that explains a lot. I never followed Mew Mew POwer anyways...too girly for my taste. 4Kids is horrible...they totally ruined Sonic X!! *sighs*

Love the colors. Using purple undertones was a nice choice. It looks good with the pink, yet also helps to break it up a bit. Her right arm may be a little bit long, but I love her face. It looks very much like Ikumi's style.

Yeah, scanners are funny things. The one I have at school tends to alter the colors somewhat, and it doesn't pick up light colors well. They end up fading.
It still looks nice to me. ^^
