Description Let's not forget about this awesome kick-ass character from game of thrones!

Still can't get the face anatomy perfect, but I'm getting used to my new brushes! <3 I'm trying not to make my art as messy Ha and I am starting to work on a smaller canvas - the orignal is just 100 pixels wider
I may come back to this work to fix mistakes :]
***UPDATE. Ok fixed the face quite a bit, with tips from my housemates* previous version: sta.sh/0w6p1we2b5l

Looks awesome! the brushes you used give such great textures; really suits this piece. It's like it's not even digital art! And great job on the depth of field with the background!

Whoop whoop! THE FACE WAS TOUGH. 
I'm quite happy that I've put more effort into blending hihi. I actually started with the background - didn't change much later - to set the vibe

Faces in general are tough I can't draw a decent face without references yet. Though I did manage a scribbly portrait on my phone that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be xD But she looks great! Definitely Ygritte and looks beautiful I really should work on different methods of blending and drag myself away from the smudge tool lol. Ah that's cool. That's a good idea to start with the background especially for complex pieces; probably easier to set the rest of the piece that way. (This is only just occurring to me xD )

Yeah I love it when that happens! When you just scribble and BAM good art. Sometimes the best art is created that way

I never used to use the smudge tool, but now ahahaa sometimes. Well mostly for backgrounds I think x)
