Description PnF - Bring back the sunshine chp1 - Aftermath

The sun rose over the city of danville.

Ever since Doofenshmirtz had been imprisoned, the city had seemed a lot less bleak and dark. His tyranical reign had brought pain, suffering and loss, and with him gone, everyone thought that the world would return to normal. But what few people realisied was that Doofenshmirtz had also prevented any and all crime, albeit through strict laws and dire consequences. The city was half in ruin, and with no law, gangs roamed the streets, abusing the fear that was left behind to try and clamber to the top of the rubble that was once the tri-state area.

Fortunately, there was still a bastion of hope, a group that was hell-bent on bringing order and peace back to danville.

The resistence.

With the evil genieus gone, they had almost lost it. To spend your whole life fighting somthing, only to win, leaves you without direction. Still, they did what they could to clean up the streets.

"Squad 4-6-2-3-1 leader, reporting for duty, sir."

"At ease." barked the resistence leader.

"So, what are we doing today?" asked the short, though intimidating, raven haired girl.

"Same thing we did yesterday, same thing we'll do tommorow."

"Who knew it would be this hard to take out a couple of street thugs?"

"Hard is the wrong word. Try long."

"What's the diffrence?"

Candace had answered this question almost every day, but she never got sick of it. "Hard means we might fail. Long means we might lose the will to try. If only it could just go faster..." she complained, as drearily as you would complain about bad weather.

"Well, I have an idea, but you might not like it..." she said, rolling her sapphire eyes. She knew that candace wouldn't.

"Spit it out..." said candace, half inquisitive and half joking.

"W-We could get those other "us"es. From the other dimesion." she finished, quikly and quietly.

Candace's smile faded into a look of dread. "What?!"

"Oh, come on. It can't be that much of a surprise. they could help a tonn. After all, their phineas is a myricle worker with mechanics", she smiled.

"And so is their ferb" the leader said, smirking slighty.

"...Shut up." she snapped.

"I have thought about it, believe me. But we would have to deal with the O.W.C.A.. No doughts that they're memories were wiped, or they might have come back by now."

"The O.W.C.A.?"

"The ones who sent perry to battle that crazy pharmicist in the first place."

They shared a chuckle. Buford had thought up the nickname, and it stuck like gum to hair.

"But seriosly," continued candace, "They won't like us reminding them of perry's identity."

"What if we don't?"

"That would be hard. The platypus probably didn't have to forget, so he would instantly recognise us."

"And?"

"And," she mimicked mockingly, "He would protect his family from us and the twisted wasteland we call home. But that's not all."

"Oh please. What else could there be?"

Candace looked down and it almost seemed like a single tear was falling from her cheek. "If more or less than 1 of any person is in any dimesion, people are going to ask questions. Lord knows we did. And so, if we want their phineas and ferb..." she stopped talking and feel to her knees. Isabella had instantly worked out what was a stake. "You know what?" said the raven haired girl, "We should just forget it." She had become closer with candace than when they were simply united with hatred.

And then, something dawned on Candace.

"I know what to do. there is only one person who would care so much about phineas..." (daggers formed in Isabella's eyes) "...and ferb!"

"Oh, right, right." she stutterd, embaressed. "And who... OHHHH."

Candace was holding a mirror.

"Get Baljeet." she ordered.
