VERY interesting face. I've always thought when creating a female character that she should be beautiful but at the same time with a little bit of masculine qualities. because no one person is perfect the idea of imperfections gives a real sense of believability.

I like the energy in this. It would be a shame to scrap it, and if you did, I would be intrigued at the opportunity to take it to its conclusion myself. Its got good motion and style, I'd just caution the hair style used here might make the hair look like its extending into infinity and beyond.

This picture somehow pulses with life. I suppose that's because of the determination in her face. This emotion is so real and, well, alive.
In the comments I have read that the distance between the eyes was too big. But I can't notice that, so I suppose that you have fixed it. Right?
Bluey, you just have to teach me your digital painting technique. I love how you have used large strokes to create soft transitions from light to shadows. What kind of brushes and what digital program do you use?
Great tonal use of colors. You have made the distant areas more tonal cold and the nearer more tonal warm, like she is in a sunlight. Great solution! That makes the picture look 3D, not plain. Stunning how the deeper contrasts around her face reflect her feelings.
I have one thing to ask, where do you get your inspiration from? Does it come naturally, or do you have a muse?
