Hey guys! Here is a quick-ish (4.5 hours) painting of an android getting repaired in some sort of capsule. Need to practice portraits more, had way too hard of a time doing this. All done from imagination, in Photoshop CS6.

They called it a RegenPOD. They tell it for emergency situations.
It was necessary to read the instructions! Now, too late... They not tell that this is emergency robotizer capsule.
Her right arm is yet humanic, but what it is now does it matter? Nothing. Too late. Soon it arm became robotic. Soon whole her body became robotic. Too late for tears, tears for her previous life. These eyes can not cry anymore. She understands that with her is happens, has already happened. The last drops of her humanity dissolve in this pink liquid. She calmly met her future. Amazingly calm, accessible only for robotized mind...
She is not first who transform into robot in her time. This is a common technology. With this can live. Some people even did it by they own choose without emergency need.

You know, she immediatly reminded me of Rhadamante Nemes in Dan Simmons' "HypΓ©rion Cantos". Her eyes especially clearly give no human feeling, just a cold impression akind to "Gideon Jump completed, beginning mission".

I love the look of this painting. She looks as if she's dreaming with her eyes open. It's like you gave a portrait of " Do androids dream of electric sheep", by Philip K Dick.

She looks scared, like despite the fact that she's an android, being repaired is painful, and horrifying, or maybe she doesn't want to belong to anyone anymore, maybe she wants to be a real person--not having to go back to a capsule and be taken apart and put back together all the time.Β
This is really good, but I wish you would've enhanced the defenition, just a friendly tip.
