Bill Murray is really awesome (Stripes, Charlie Angel's, Groundhog Day are my favorites). Same to Dan Aykroyd (Tommy Boy, Indiana, Dragnet, Sgt Bilko, Xmas with Kranks) and Ernie Hudson (Mr Magoo; Congo) and what about Rick Moranis! (I'll never forget how this guy looks funny) This movie only has actors that years later become all legends! In my childhood's I grew up listening the theme song of the 89' movie and later I watched the 84' and it's funny how they made comedy movies. It's funny but amazing at same time in comparison with some of these nowadays comedy movies.

Ghostbusters will forever be one of my all time favourite movies. The proton pack was so retro and cool. Now that I think about it, those guys actually ran around new York carrying mini nuclear reactors on their backs capable of leveling the entire city, I guess no one thought that was dangerous

And I was taking a close look at the proton pack model and it's based on a compiled of random circuit board parts with a mix of data cables, lights and buttons

HAHAHAHAHA! Yeah, I checked out the design too, people today would stare at it and go "what the hell is that?" but you know what, people today just don't appreciate good old retro tech and I really feel sorry for kids growing up today.
If you think about it, it's a miracle those things didn't explode considering they went through so many dangerous scenarios in the movies. Those packs' power cells were rated to have a life cycle of 5000 years.
