At has been over a year since Drake died at the hands of Hitoshi, so he had to get use to his new life in heaven where he enjoyed of complete peace... but that doesn't take out the fact that he miss all the friends he had on life.

- Drake: *he was standing near a tree looking at the endless sunny sky thinking* hmmm... it has been really peaceful here, and it has been over one year since i've died... i've kinda get used to this place *he low his head* but... i still miss my friends down there... Sonic... Ashlyn... everyone... i wish i could see them once again.

- ???: *a familiar voice was heard behind the tree* did you missed me or better say... did you missed US as well?

- Drake: huh? *he was surprised after hearing the voice until the personal was revealed to be Pneuma, the fusion of Pyra and Mythra* P... Pneuma? is that you?

- Pneuma: *smiles* hehe... judging by your face, i can tell that you missed me as well... Drake.

- Drake: but how? Hitoshi destroyed Aegis... i thought you were gone forever.

- Drake: i'm glad that you are still alive... but i'm very sorry, i wasn't able to protect the Aegis... i wasn't able to protect your three...

- Pneuma: that's not a problem, remember this? *points at her Core Crystal again* this Core Crystal is the very reason of why Pyra, Mythra and me were able to survived us, it saved and helped us... it can also help you, i can link you to the Core and give you some of it's power, making you able to resurrect once again... however since you the Aegis doesn't get old and it's energy it's eternal, you would not get older or die, unless the Crystal is destroyed, making Pyra, Mythra, me and you die at once.

- Drake: you mean that... i would not until return to life, but i would also become inmortal until your Core Crystal gets destroyed?

- Pneuma: that's right, as long as this is intact, you and me will be able to live... so, what do you say?

- Drake: well... that could have many possibilities for the future, but for right now... i think i will take your offer, i've enjoyed of an endless peace for far to long, but i think life needs me back.

- Drake: okay... it has been one long year, then i think it's time to return *he slowly rise his hand touching Pneuma's Core Crystal which it began to glow with an intense light teleporting him out of heaven*

Meanwhile on earth on a clocktower an intense emerald glow appeared on the top revealing Drake who was no longer with the halo on his head and the Aegis sword intact on his hand.

- Drake: *he looks at the Aegis surprised* oh... it worked, it really worked *he look at his free hand* honestly i feel different, like if i was really... reborned.

- Pneuma: *her voice was heard on his head* indeed you did in a way... not only you're back to life, but also you have been rejuvenated to a 21 years old hedgehog, i think it is fair since you deserve more life hope and experience then you had before.

- Drake: ............. *smiles closing his hand* hehe... you never cease to surprise me, you three the best girls *he look at the sky while the Aegis was glowing ready for use* okay then, let's see what things awaits for us out there, i just hope not many things have changed in this whole year.

And with that unexpected turn of events, Drake was back into the living world along side with Pneuma, and with her it means that also Pyra and Mythra are back, what kind of adventures await for them from now on?
