One day has passed since the two Phoenix brothers escaped from the GUN Fortress and the chase after them started... meanwhile on Mystic Ruins, there was the well known Dr.Ivo Robotnik, also known as Eggman on his classic Death Egg Robo trying to attack the fastest and famous blue hedgehog hero of Mobius, Sonic.

- Eggman: *riding the Death Egg Robo he look at Sonic* oooojojojojojoooh! now then, time for you to fall beyond the foot of my lastest creations Sonic!

- Sonic: really? "lastest creation"? for real Eggman, how many times have you used this exact same robot? i like that it's for the old times but geez, try to improve something new on it at least.

- Eggman: SILENCE! *point the robotic arm down at him* it doesn't matter the originality, what it matters here it's the power and now it's stronge enough to beat you!

- Sonic: yeeeeaaaah.... great power, but not great aim i could say *he point up and Eggman notice that he was not exactly pointing his arm at Sonic*

- Eggman: graaahh!! it doesn't matter, now you're going to get- *before he could say any other word Sonic strike him with a homming attack so powerful that it made the Death Egg Robo explode and send the doctor flying away* GAAAAAAAAH I HATE YOU BLUE RUNT!

- Sonic: *landed on the ground smiling* have a nice landing Eggy! also send my greetings to Orbot and Cubot!

- Tails: *his great two tailed fox friend came to the area looking for him* hey Sonic! are you okay?

- Sonic: yeah, it was no big deal... you already know Eggman, sometimes he doesn't learn from his past mistakes and that cost him his battles against us.

- Tails: yeah, you're right about that... but i'm sure he'll come with something new soon.

- Sonic: maybe, but anyways... were you able to find out what happened last night at the GUN Fortress? i tried to contact Shadow but he was no where to be found.

- Tails: not really sure at the moment, but what i was able to find out is that G.U.N were able to find something on a dimensional travel... i believe that whatever happened last night was involved on what theey've found.

- Sonic: hmmm... weird... for something to have escaped from the G.U.N specially with Shadow's guard, it must have been something serious.

- Tails: yeah, i'll stay tunned in case something else related to that happens... anyways, i was gonna ask you about something *poinst at one direction* over that area, going right into one of the old Chao Gardens my radars have been detecting some strange source of energy, i've tried to see if it was a Chaos Emerald but it's a total different energy.

- Sonic: something different you say? *he ajusted his gloves preparing to run* alright then, i'll go check it out, meanwhile you wait for me at your workshop... later! *he run at fullspeed to the direction Tails pointed him*

- Tails: alright then... be careful Sonic.

Later at the old Chao Garden, Sonic made it in that place and start to look around for something strange that could be generating some energy but he didn't found anything, until in one moment...

- Sonic: man... i've been seaching around for all courners in this place! will this be the right place or Tails have sense something in the wrong place? anyways, i think i should go back and tell him that- *suddendly a strange pink glow appeared behind him making him to turn around* huh?

He got near the river and looks at a pink glow in the water, in the center near the waterfall.

Sonic: what the...? that glow... could that be what Tails was talking about? ummmm... *look down noticing that he had to enter in the river in order to get the glowing object* ....... seriously... out of all places... *close his fists with a funny scared face* WHY IN THE WATER!? *having no other choice but to enter in the water, he slowly entered on it while it reached only to his waist* W-well... at least it's not so tall... *looks at the front trying to ignore the water and slowly got close to the object, and once he was closer he saw that it was a pink Chaos Emerald* oh... so it was a Chaos Emerald after all! *he extended his arm reaching for the emerald and finally took it* yeah, it is but... this is not the purple emerald i know, it's a pink one... also i can fell something totally different i've never felt with the original emeralds... hmmm... *looks around* well, seems that Eggman was not here but i'm not sure if this it's his doing... but i'll bring this to Tails and try to find an answer, because a pink eight emerald it's not something normal... *looks at the emerald again* also... by the only action of holding it, i feel myself... different... i don't what it is exactly, but this is not something the Chaos Emeralds normally do... yeah, i gotta go back to Tails' workshop and show him this... *started to walk out of the water* also, i cannot bare to stay any other moment on the water, specially because my sneakers are getting all wet! PAUSE.
