Great concept.
I love how they are sitting on the grass, like they're in a forest.
Maybe in an old fairytale.

Was this taken on a putting green at one of those putt-putt minigolf places? You would be my hero if that were true.

I like how they're all pretending to stand up straight, even though they're resting on an incline. Really good visual lines, right the way down to the baby apple in the foreground.

They look really delicious.

Very nice the way you put it - "...pretending to stand up straight..."

That IS true... I fought a bit with gravity through the shoot. Now and then one stopped pretending and shamelessly rolled down the wall.

But I guess I won't be your hero though. This green is moss on a wall. The tiny juicy fruits (acerolas) were standing on this little platform off the wall.

ohhh a moss-covered wall ... that seems so much more appropriate, and now that I'm looking at it again I can't imagine why I ever thought it was astroturf.

haha, it sounds like you had fun with the shoot. Ah, the pains artists go to for the perfect shot. It was definitley worth it for the final product in this case, though.

Lera, they look like apples but they're really a fruit called Acerola.. a tropical fruit. They're probably 3 or 4 times smaller than an apple and very rich in vitamine C.
